The 2004 season's here. It's our second season as new owners of Oak Ridge.

With the 2004 golf season happily in bloom at Oak Ridge, this is the second year under the new management team. A purchase was made in January of 2003 by Jim Bernier of Greenfield and Rick Giverson of Belchertown.
The two have combined their golf-related vocations to form B&G Golf Associates, LLC.
Bernier, owner of the Greenfield based Golf Cart Services and Giverson, the former superintendent at the Westover Golf Course, will manage the 146 acres on West Gill road in Gill, MA.

Oak Ridge was built in 1962 and has seen six different owners, each contributing to the playability of the gently rolling hills layout.

The "Ridge" will offer a small pro shop, a neat foyer with a large fire place will greet the golfers as they enter the facility and a comfortable lounge area will provide a limited menu for hungry golfers along with a full bar for a cool beverage.
The former owners, Robert "Skip" Escott and superintendent Phil Harrington have added many course improvements during their seven year tenure. Phil & Skip

New paved cart paths, new irrigation, extensive drainage, and some new tees and refurbished greens make for a pleasurable round of golf here. Newly planted trees will also add to fairway definition on the middle holes (3-4-5-6). A number of the dead trees have been removed.
